Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy
This Policy governs purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for applicable Services sold directly by Underline LLC.
1. Scope
This Policy governs purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for applicable Services sold directly by Underline LLC.
It supplements Underline’s Terms of Service.
A separately negotiated agreement or an expressly accepted order may provide different commercial terms. Mandatory consumer rights always apply.
For purchases billed by an independent app store, reseller, or storefront, that seller’s billing and refund procedures may apply, subject to applicable law.
2. Information Provided Before Purchase
Before you authorize payment, the checkout or order will identify the material purchase terms, including:
- The Service and plan.
- The price and billing currency.
- Applicable taxes or how they are calculated.
- Billing frequency and service duration.
- Included users, capacity, or usage.
- Any authorized usage-based charges.
- Whether the purchase automatically renews.
- Trial or promotional conditions.
- How to cancel.
You are responsible for reviewing those terms before purchasing.
We do not treat this Policy alone as authorization to charge you.
3. Payment Authorization
By completing an authorized purchase, you permit the charges clearly disclosed and accepted during that purchase.
You must use a payment method you are authorized to use and provide accurate billing information.
Where permitted, a payment provider may securely maintain payment credentials or tokens for authorized recurring charges.
We do not charge undisclosed fees or purchase additional services on your behalf without appropriate authorization.
4. Subscription Terms and Renewal
Subscriptions may be monthly, annual, or another period disclosed in the applicable order.
Automatic renewal applies only when clearly disclosed and appropriately accepted.
Unless canceled, an automatically renewing subscription continues for the disclosed renewal period at the applicable renewal price.
We provide legally required renewal reminders and notices. Any materially different renewal terms will be disclosed before they take effect, with additional consent where required.
One-time purchases do not automatically become subscriptions.
5. Trials and Promotional Offers
The offer will identify a trial’s duration, limitations, and any conditions.
A trial converts to a paid subscription only where the conversion terms, price, timing, and required authorization have been provided.
You may cancel before conversion through the cancellation methods in Section 6.
Promotional prices may expire after the disclosed promotional period. The regular price or pricing method must be explained before you accept the offer.
We may restrict repeated or fraudulent use of trial offers, subject to applicable law.
6. How to Cancel
Use the subscription or billing controls provided for your Service.
If those controls are unavailable, inaccessible, or do not work, email:
legal@underline.team
Include the account email, organization name if applicable, and the subscription you want canceled. Do not send full payment-card numbers or passwords.
A clear cancellation request received before renewal prevents the next renewal, subject only to lawful deadlines clearly disclosed at purchase.
We do not require you to complete a sales call or accept an alternative offer as a condition of cancellation.
We will provide confirmation of cancellation. Keep the confirmation for your records.
Deleting an application, stopping use, leaving a workspace, or removing a payment method does not necessarily cancel a subscription. Use the cancellation process to ensure future renewal is stopped.
7. Effect of Cancellation
Unless a different arrangement is disclosed or legally required, cancellation stops future renewal while access continues through the current paid period.
Cancellation does not ordinarily produce a partial refund for an already commenced period.
You may request immediate account closure separately. Immediate closure may end access before the paid period expires without creating an additional refund right.
Export important information before access ends. Retention and deletion are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable customer agreements.
8. Refunds
Except as provided below, in an accepted order, or by applicable law, charges for an already commenced subscription period and completed one-time Services are nonrefundable.
This does not restrict rights concerning:
- Unauthorized or duplicate charges.
- Charges made contrary to a valid cancellation.
- Services materially different from what was promised.
- Defective or undelivered Services where a legal remedy applies.
- Statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights.
- Other mandatory consumer protections.
To request a refund, email legal@underline.team with the transaction details, relevant dates, and reason for the request.
We may request reasonable information to verify the transaction.
Approved refunds are ordinarily returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution. We do not guarantee a bank posting date.
9. Discontinuation and Material Reductions
If Underline permanently discontinues a prepaid Service before the paid term ends for reasons unrelated to your material breach, we will refund the unused prepaid portion.
If we materially reduce core paid functionality during an existing prepaid term, we will provide an appropriate remedy consistent with the Terms of Service and applicable law.
Temporary interruptions do not automatically create a refund entitlement unless an applicable service-level agreement, order, or law provides one.
10. Upgrades, Downgrades, and Usage Charges
The purchase or change process will explain the effective date and any additional charge or credit for a plan change.
Downgrades generally take effect at renewal unless otherwise disclosed. A lower plan may have reduced storage, users, or functionality.
We will not impose an undisclosed retroactive charge for a plan change.
Usage-based charges apply only under disclosed and authorized pricing terms. You remain responsible for authorized usage incurred before cancellation becomes effective.
11. Price Changes
Price changes generally apply to future purchases or renewals, after applicable notice.
We do not retroactively increase the agreed price for an existing prepaid term.
You may cancel renewal before a new price takes effect. We obtain additional consent where required by law.
12. Failed Payments
If an authorized payment fails, we may notify you, retry the payment where permitted, and request an updated payment method.
We may suspend paid features or terminate the subscription after appropriate notice, subject to applicable law and your agreement.
We do not impose a late fee, collection charge, or penalty unless it was properly disclosed, agreed, and legally permitted.
Suspension does not automatically erase valid charges already incurred.
13. Billing Errors and Disputes
Report suspected errors promptly to legal@underline.team.
We will review disputed charges and correct substantiated errors.
You are not required to waive payment-provider dispute rights or statutory remedies. Contacting us first is encouraged but is not a condition for exercising a legally protected chargeback or complaint right.
A legitimate billing dispute alone does not authorize retaliatory treatment.
14. Changes and Applicable Law
Material changes apply prospectively with appropriate notice. A revised policy does not retroactively remove an existing refund entitlement.
Nebraska law governs as described in the Terms of Service, without displacing mandatory protections applicable to you.
